Misaki is Seimei and Ritsuka's mother who exerts significant influence over them. Despite being emotionally and mentally weak, she struggles with reality and often experiences hallucinations following certain events in volume 5. Her abusive and violent nature leads her to blame Ritsukas personality change for the reason Seimei "left," demanding that he return to his former self when she beats him. Many view her as a cruel villain, but through her inner dialogues in volume 5, readers gain insight into her more human and fragile side, which she cannot control.
