Grampa Theo was an elderly puppeteer who traveled around Italy with his son, Leon, and granddaughter, Nana. Although he wanted his son to take over his puppet shows, Leon had no interest in becoming a puppeteer and refused. This led to arguments between the two about Leon's dream of becoming a doctor. The situation worsened when Nana became sick but recovered later. Eventually, Leon left his family due to the tension caused by these events. Years later, Grampa Theo and Nana moved near the Rossi family's house in Milan after hearing that Leon was living there. Angeletta asked Romeo to search for him, and with the help of Professor Casella, they found Leon, who had become a doctor specializing in treating poor children in the city. Grampa Theo and Nana were reunited with their son, and the father and son reconciled.
