Keisuke Takahashi is the second driver of the Red Suns team and drives FD3S. He is an accomplished racer who is highly skilled, but his younger brother is considered to be even better. Keisuke can sometimes let his emotions get the best of him during races, which affects his performance. Before joining Ryousuke's new team, he was a leader in a Bosozoku gang. He has a rivalry with Takumi and they often race each other in different events. While Takumi typically competes in downhill races, Keisuke prefers to participate in uphill races. Keisuke is not as analytical as his older brother, but he excels at thinking quickly on the spot while driving. His ability to act instinctively and make split-second decisions amazes Ryousuke. However, Ryousuke also admires Keisuke's dedication to racing and respects his determination to become a professional racer. Despite their differences in approach, they have a mutual respect for each other and often get along well during races. While Takumi has decided to retire from racing and pursue a career as a doctor, Keisuke is fully committed to continuing his journey on the track. His ultimate goal is to become a professional racer, but he knows that he must first defeat Takumi in order to prove himself worthy of the title.
