Kite

In the story, Kite is the first Hunter to be introduced. He was a student of Ging Freecss, Gon's father. After saving Gon from a foxbear on Whale Island, he revealed the truth about his father. Before departing, he handed over Gings Hunter License to Gon. Later, while conducting a zoological survey in Kakin, Gon encountered Kite again. At that time, he was leading a group of aspiring Hunters, consisting of seven children including Banana Kavaro, Lin Koshi, Monta Yuras, Podungo Lapoy, Spinner Clow, and Stick Dinner.
Kite is killed by Neferpitou, but is soon rebuilt into a manipulated puppet to train the ants. He is later captured by Knuckle and Shoot.
Kite is later revealed to have been reborn as Meruems younger sister with all his memories intact. This is later hinted by Ging to have something to do with his ability "Crazy Slot where there is a number that will only appear when Kite has a strong will to survive and does not wish to die.
