This individual is a third-year student (grade 12) who serves as both the captain of Yuuhi Guts and their quarterback. Over the course of three years, this person has led their teammates through rigorous training sessions. While it may not be on par with the intense regime experienced by the Death March Devil Bats, it is still a formidable challenge. Despite being considered slightly below average as an athlete (as Hiruma put it, "he's the best of the worst"), Atsumi has proven to be a valuable member of his team. In fact, the quarterback from Deimon gave Yuuhi Guts only a 1% chance of defeating their rivals. Despite this, Atsumi remains grounded and is one of the few players who can see through Hiruma's "scare tactics" immediately.
