Mr. Tadakichi

Mr. Tadakichi, or Tadakichi-san in Japanese, is a Great Pyrenees dog that belongs to Chiyo. He has been with her for five years prior to her high school admission. Despite being large and powerful, he is known for his gentle and mild nature. This makes him perfect for Chiyo to ride on his back, as well as allowing her to pet him without any biting incidents. Sakaki also enjoys Tadakichi because of these qualities, and even daydreams about riding him like Chiyo does.
