The second main character is a female snow fairy who attempts to use her piccolo to call down snow from the sky. she has longed to be like her mother, a renowned snow fairy known for creating soft and warm snowfall. sugar behaves like a young child; she's clumsy, stubborn, and easily distracted. when she's happy, she kisses those she likes. despite trying to be friends with saga, sugar often makes mistakes. like all fairies in the series, sugar adores waffles. in the anime, it seems that she mispronounces "waffles" as "waffos." whenever sugar becomes excited, she exclaims "waffo!" in the manga, she said "waffos" before ever tasting a waffle.
