Midori is a first-year student who stands tall but lacks confidence and can be somewhat timid. He has good looks and physique but struggles with formal and honorific speech. His reason for attending the academy is its proximity to his home, which is a greengrocer located near the school. Although he did not intend to become an idol, Midori accidentally enrolled in the "idol course." He sees Chiaki Morisawa's energy as too hot-blooded and overwhelming. When feeling down, he visits the ocean with fellow RYUSEITAI member Kanata Shinkai. Midori is not fond of horror or thrill rides.
