At a secluded institution for young men aspiring to become idols, there's an event called "idol-training produce game." This takes place at a private boys idol-training school with a storied past of producing numerous successful entertainers. The main character is the sole female student who enrolls due to unique circumstances and joins the schools producer department.

Ensemble Stars! is based on idol-raising smartphone game of the same title created by Happy Elements.
