Mai Sadohara

Mai comes from a school in Japan and later joins forces with the main characters for the competition called Hexennacht. She's connected to "The Grateful Crane" through her contract, and she's been practicing martial arts since early on.

She was introduced as a replacement for Hazuki after Hazuki decided to rescind her contract with her book.
She defeated the Russian school team twice in a unofficial, non-magical fight using karate.
