Father, ゴズキ

Gozuki is the leader of the newly formed assassination division of the Empire's Elite Seven. His primary responsibility includes developing and honing the skills of his members, transforming them into competent assassins. Eight years prior to the series, he gathered approximately 100 children from Gifnora Forest, home to Danger Beasts. From this group, seven of the strongest survivors became his students. He refers to these trainees as his "children," and they address him as "Father" in return. Gozuki possesses the Teigu "Murasame," which would eventually evolve into Akames. Gozuki was known for being strict, if not cruel, in his selection of children for his purposes. He separated Akame from her sister Kurome despite their protests, stating that dependence among children was prohibited within his group. Furthermore, he made it clear that failure to complete tasks would not be tolerated.
