Cell is a fictional graphic novel supervillain who first appears in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga series. He was cloned by Dr. Gero from the cells of several characters, resulting in him being labeled as the "perfect warrior." His genetic and personality traits were inherited from almost all the Dragon Ball characters, including Piccolo, Freeza, Vegeta, and Son Goku himself. Cell's original personality was redesigned by a computer to add various other character personalities, making him an even more formidable weapon. Throughout the Androids Arc, Cells personality evolved with each transformation, driven by his desire to complete his evolution by absorbing Android 17 and Android 18. In his final form, Cell's eagerness to test the limits of his newfound power defined him as a villain. Unlike most other Dragon Ball villains, Cell was sophisticated due to his genetic composition from other warriors, allowing him to manipulate them psychologically and exploit their weaknesses for his own benefit.
