A woman who sold apples in Prague was labeled as a thief and looked down upon by many locals, but her neighbors in poorer areas saw her as an angel. The brand "thief" was given to her after she stole an egg to feed one of the orphans under her care, who later died while she was imprisoned for the act. Despite this, she continued to care for the orphans and took on various odd jobs to support them. If anyone was hungry, she would willingly give away her own food without resentment. She was deeply religious and often visited church to pray, despite facing contempt from others due to her poverty. After meeting Bái Jīn and Bái Yín in Prague, she fell in love with and married Yín. However, Jíng kidnapped her just hours later, and after a long journey, they settled in a small village in France. Due to fear of disease spreading, the villagers locked Francine up in a hut for several years.
