The father of Kokonotsu is also the current owner of Shikada store. He wishes for his son to succeed him as the 9th head of the shop in order to preserve his legacy. In exchange for this, he has agreed to Hotaru's proposal that if she can persuade his son to become the next leader of the store, he will join her company.
