Anime International Company, or AIC for short, is a Japanese animation studio that was founded in 1982 in Nerima, Tokyo. They are known for producing popular anime series such as Tenchi Muyo!, Bubblegum Crisis, El Hazard, and adaptations of Oh My Goddess!. In December 2015, they established AIC RIGHTS Company through a company split, which received some of their copyrights. At its peak, AIC had eight sub-studios including AIC ASTA, AIC Build, AIC Classic, AIC Digital, AIC Frontier, AIC PLUS+, AIC Spirits, and AIC Takarazuka.
