The manga "Kore Kaite Shine" by Minoru Toyoda has been adapted into a television anime series.
In 2021, a popular television show featuring a teenage female protagonist who enjoys drawing comics was introduced and received recognition.
On Friday, it was revealed by Shogakukan that they have decided to create an anime adaptation of Minoru Toyoda's popular manga series, "Kore Kaite Shine". This anime will be broadcasted on NTV with the tagline "For all manga lovers".
In November 2021, Toyoda (Love Roma) started publishing its manga in Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine from Shogakukan. Additionally, the series can be found online. ( link ) On Sunday, the sixth volume of Webry will be released in August 2024.
The manga is set in Izuōshima, an island 120 kilometers south of Tokyo. The story centers on Ai Yasumi, a high school girl who loves to read manga, and learns about the joy and pain of drawing her own manga.
In January of 2023, the manga received recognition in two awards: the 70th Shogakukan Manga Awards and the 16th Manga Taisho awards. Furthermore, it was ranked #6 among male-oriented mangas in the 2023 edition of Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga is Amazing!) guidebook.
