Romance series centers on shy office worker, policeman with little self-restraint
On Thursday, it was revealed by Ichijinsha that Sigma Torai's manga series, Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajū! (That Policeman, Sometimes a Beast!), will be adapted into an anime television series this year.
The story revolves around the character of Hiyori, who is a shy employee in an office setting. One day, she gets into an accident that results in her breaking her arm. Kumano, who witnessed the incident, feels guilty for not being able to prevent it and decides to stay with her until her arm heals. Despite being a police officer, Kumano struggles with self-control. Meanwhile, Hiyori feels more comfortable with Kumano due to his profession, but Kumano himself is not as composed as he appears to be.
Kazuhiro Toda serves as the main director for Rabbit Gate's anime production of "I Want to Be His Prey". Saburou Miura takes on both directing duties and scriptwriting for "Show Time!", "Show Time! 2", and "Secret Mission - Undercover Agents Never Back Down!". Yukihiro Makino serves as the assistant director for "I Want to Be His Prey". Haruna Kamiyama handles character design for "I Want to Be His Prey", while Hisayoshi Hirasawa takes on sound direction for "I Want to Be His Prey" as well as "Show Time!".
Lovebites is an e-book label from Ichijinsha that publishes manga series. On April 1st, they will release the manga's tenth volume. Currently, there are 2 million copies of this manga in circulation.
My Matchmaking Partner is a Student, An Aggressive Troublemaker is an anime that was inspired by the manga "Torai's Omiai Aite wa Oshiego, Tsuyoki na, Mondaiji." It first debuted on TV and online in October 2017 and was streamed in English by Coolmic under that title.
