2025 Crayon Shin-chan Film Reveals More Cast
Asami Seto, Kōichi Yamadera, Shō Hayami, Noriko Hidaka, Katsuhisa Hōki, Chika Sakamoto join cast
On Wednesday, the official website of Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers announced additional cast members for the film in the Crayon Shin-chan series.
The new cast members include ( Note: Character name romanizations not official ):

- Asami Seto as Ariana, a popular Indian woman
- Kōichi Yamadera as Kabir, an expert detective with excellent physical and mental abilities
- Shō Hayami as Dir, a detective that is able to speak every language in the world

- Noriko Hidaka as Sugoi Cube, an AI-equipped cube developed by the billionaire Wolf
- Katsuhisa Hōki as Fragtaterde, the manager of a suspicious shop in India
- Chika Sakamoto as Latel, a candidate for Wolf's partner
The film will open in Japanese theaters on August 8.
The upcoming movie is the 32nd installment of the 2D animation series "Crayon Shin-chan." It is also the first dance entertainment movie of the series. This film takes place in India, marking the first time any movie from this franchise has been set there. Given that this series is incredibly popular in India, it is no surprise that this is where it is being held. In this movie, Shinnosuke and his team from the Kasukabe Defense Force perform a dance routine.
Wolf, an Indian billionaire who enjoys dancing and singing, will be portrayed by Kento Kaku in the upcoming film.
Masakazu Hashimoto, who has directed several movies in the series such as Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden and Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shinkon Ryokō Hurricane, is directing the upcoming film. Kimiko Ueno, who wrote the screenplays for Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden and Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shinkon Ryokō Hurricane, is returning to write the script for this new movie.
The movie "Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyōryū Nikki" (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary), which is the 31st installment of the anime series "Eiga Crayon Shin-chan", was released in Japan on August 9th. It opened at #2 on its first day of release. In its first three days, it sold 365,000 tickets and made 455,302,200 yen (about US$3.05 million). By the end of its first four days including Monday (August 10th), it had sold 510,000 tickets and earned 636 million yen (about US$4.32 million).
