The days Renge spent with Nerine. They'd eat breakfast together and talk to each other as they walked through the city. That's Renge's memory, as well as the proof of their connected feelings. The story now goes back to when the girls set off on their journey.
The anime was first shown on Tokyo MX on January 2nd at 11:30 p.m., JST (9:30 p.m., EST). It was later released on U-NEXT in Japan on January 3rd at midnight JST (January 4th at 12 midnight JST). Afterward, it was broadcasted on BS Asahi, Kansai TV, AT-X channels, and Amazon Prime Video's Anime Times channel on January 3rd, 5th, and 4th respectively. Muse Asia streamed it in India as it was being shown in Japan.
Reiri released a manga adaptation for the anime on Square Enix 's Manga UP! website on September 3.
The TV anime series "GoRA" and "GoHands" started airing in October 2013. They had follow-up TV series, films, manga adaptations, as well as manga spinoff stories.
In January 2017, Hand Shakers, which is an anime series created by adokawa and produced by GoHands and Frontier Works, was first broadcast on TV. Later on in 2018, it was adapted into a stage play.
In January 2019, Frontier Works and GoHands introduced their new anime series called W'z, which later inspired a stage play adaptation in April 2019.
