Adaptation of Rokuro Uraji's novels to air on AT-X channel
On Wednesday, the official Twitter account for Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai was launched, which is based on the novel series by Rokuro Uraji. It was announced that its television anime adaptation will be shown in 2026.
The anime will run on AT-X .
In a world where zombies have invaded, only Takemura remains unaffected by their attacks. Despite having the power to fight back against these undead creatures, Takemura chooses instead to follow his own desires rather than engage in battle. If this were a zombie movie, Takemura would use his unique ability to battle against the zombies, but he instead opts to act according to his personal preferences.
Uraji launched ( link ) the story on the R18 version of the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in January 2013 and ended the story in 2017. Frontier Works published three volumes for the series with illustrations by Saburō in 2016 to 2017.
In June 2021, Chihiro Masuda introduced a manga version of their work, which will be followed by Frontier Works releasing the fourth volume of that manga on Friday.
