Anime reveals new cast member every Saturday




On Saturday, it was announced by Aniplex that the anime adaptation of the light novel series Silent Witch ( Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto ) by Matsuri Isora and Nanna Fujimi will feature Yuki Sakakihara as Neil Clay Maywood, who serves as the general affairs representative for Serendia Academy's student council.

The staff are revealing a new cast member for the anime every Saturday.

The series will debut on television in July.

The anime will star:

- Atsumi Tanezaki as Isabelle Norton
- Shōgo Sakata as Felix Arc Ridill

- Ryōhei Kimura as Elliott Howard


Takaomi Kanasaki is the chief director of Princess Connect! Re:Dive and is responsible for writing, supervising scripts, and serving as sound director. Yasuo Iwamoto is directing the anime for Princess Connect! Re:Dive season 2. Studio Gokumi is producing the anime. Cona Nitanda is the character designer for Lucky na Safari de Oni Gokko!?. Cygames and Rina Tayama are credited for music in Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Yoshinori Iwanaga is responsible for monster and prop design in Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Eri Yamanashi and Yukiko Maruyama are art directors for Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Saori Yoshida is responsible for color setting in Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Kana Imagaki is the director of 3D CG for Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Naoki Etō is responsible for photography in Princess Connect! Re:Dive. Kashiko Kimura is the editor for Princess Connect! Re:Dive.

In February 2020, the initial versions of the novels were introduced on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Following that, Kadokawa began publishing them as light novels in June 2021. They released their ninth volume in February 2024, with the tenth volume scheduled for this summer. Additionally, Isora and Fujimi created a two-volume prequel series titled Silent Witch -another- Kekkai no Majutsushi no Nariagari, which was released in December 2023 with its second and final volume shipping in April 2024.

In July 2021, Tobi Tana released a manga version of the original novels from Kadokawa 's B's-LOG COMIC series. This manga's fifth compiled book volume was released in Japan on January 31st. Additionally, Azu Azuko started a manga adaptation of Silent Witch - another prequel novel from the Kekkai no Majutsushi no Nariagari series - on January 9th on Kadokawa 's ComicWalker service.

Yen Press acquired the rights for the novel series, which they then released with the title "Secrets of the Silent Witch." According to the publisher, it follows the storyline.

Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the world's only practitioner of Voiceless Magic, a veritable heroine who single-handedly fended off the Black Dragon of legend. However, the young prodigy is actually…super-duper shy! Yup, turns out she only learned Voiceless Magic to avoid speaking in public. Ignorant of this, the Seven Sages have placed her on a top-secret mission to guard the Second Prince. Can Monica keep it together as she contends with both social interaction and the evils targeting the young royal?

Yen Press also licensed Tana, Isora, and Fujimi's Secrets of the Silent Witch manga.
