Sequel story follows Woo-sol's evolution from survivor to protector
The TV show "Shark: The Storm," which is based on the popular webtoon "Shark," will be released on May 15 as a six-episode series on TVING. Prior to its launch, TVING released a teaser poster showcasing the intense confrontation between the main characters portrayed by Min-seok Kim and Hyun-wook Lee.
The movie "Shark: The Storm," which follows up on "Shark: The Beginning" from 2021, extends the narrative into a serialized format while focusing on Woo-sol Cha (Min-seok Kim), who has been training as a professional MMA fighter after being released from prison. In this film, Woo-sol faces off against Woo-yong Hyun (Hyun-wook Lee), a dangerous adversary whose confrontation with Woo-sol drives the central conflict of the story.
The story follows Woo-sol's evolution from a survivor to a protector, fighting not only for his own life but to defend those he cares about.
Since its creation in 2016, the Korean webtoon "Shark" has been serialized without an English translation available.
