Manga by Val x Love author launched in February 2024

According to information from the September edition of Square Enix 's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, which was published on Tuesday, Ryōsuke Asakura 's Anastasia no Ikita 9-kakan (The Last Days of Anastasia) manga will conclude in the next issue on September 12th.

In this fantasy universe, two religious organizations have been at odds for millennia. While the Church of Light appears to be gaining ground, it faces imminent defeat. Desperate for help, they call upon a formidable warrior to join their cause. However, this hero comes with a heavy burden - she will perish within nine days. With time running out, the heroine and her priestess companion embark on a perilous journey as the last hope for their faith.

In February 2024, Asakura released his manga series in Monthly Shonen Gangan. Then, Square Enix published the second volume of the compiled manga on February 12th.

In April 2023, the manga series "I Want to Be Exposed by the Shikizaki Sisters" by Asakura concluded its run in "Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump" magazine. This manga began in December 2021 in the same magazine. The final volume of "I Want to Be Exposed by the Shikizaki Sisters" was published by Shueisha in June 2023.

In March 2023, the serialization of Asakura's Val x Love (Ikusa x Koi) manga in Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine came to an end. Square Enix released the final volume of the manga, which was its 16th volume, in May 2023.

In December 2015, Asakura released his manga series in Monthly Shonen Gangan. Yen Press is currently publishing this manga series in English, with the release of its 16th volume occurring in March 2024.

In October 2019, an anime series was created based on a manga. Sentai Filmworks obtained the rights for this anime and made it available for streaming on HIDIVE while it was still airing in Japan. They later released it on Blu-ray Disc in November 2020.
