The official trailer of Arknights: Rise from Ember, the third season of the anime based on Hypergryph's mobile game, was released on Saturday, revealing that the anime will air on July 4th. Additionally, the cast, staff, and theme song artists were also announced in the trailer.

The franchise features a new web anime called "U Takes Terra," which was directed by Jun Aoki (Pop Team Epic, Gal & Dino, On Air Dekinai!). This series revolves around the joke character U-Official (also known as Streamer U), who is always unlucky as a VTuber. The first episode was released in English in October, and the remaining episodes will be released in 2025.

This land faces Catastrophes that are rare but have devastating consequences, compelling most of its inhabitants to reside in nomadic cities. These Catastrophes also produce Originium, a mineral that provides high energy but consumes everything around it as it grows. Prolonged exposure to Originium leads to Oripathy, a wasting disease. The narrative focuses on the lives of Oripathy sufferers. Rhodes Island, a medical company that offers assistance and a sense of belonging for the Infected, frequently engages in paramilitary actions against the Reunion Movement, a terrorist organization that seeks to carry out violent acts against governments that oppress the Infected.
In May 2019, Chinese studios Studio Montagne and Hypergryph launched their game in China. Later on, Yostar brought it worldwide in January 2020. Since then, several promotional videos have been created for the game, including nine-minute animated " Holy Knight Light " short film in December 2021, which marked its first anniversary.
In Japan, the anime series "The Arknights: Prelude to Dawn" was released in October 2022 with eight episodes. Crunchyroll made it available for streaming as it was being broadcasted there.
