On Friday, the team behind the Fire Force anime revealed three additional voice actors who will be joining the show for its upcoming third and last season. These actors are listed from left to right in the image below.
The anime "Undead Unluck" has undergone some changes in its production team. Sei Tsuguta is now overseeing the scriptwriting process, while Mika Yamamoto has taken on the role of sub-character designer. Yoshihiro Yoshioka and Mariko Kubo have joined forces as chief animation directors alongside Yumenosuke Tokuda. Yumi Horikoshi has been appointed as the new art director, while Kōji Kodera has been tasked with overseeing CG production. Ryō Ōhashi has been promoted to VFX supervisor, having previously been credited for VFX, 3D CG, and photography. Natsuki Takei has also been promoted to compositing director of photography, having previously served as an assistant director of photography.
For the anime's initial performance, "High Flame" by Queen Bee will be played as the introductory music, while Umeda Cypher will sing "Urusiren" as the concluding tune for the first quarter of the series.
The initial portion of the last season will be released on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS on April 4th. Subsequently, the second half will become available in January 2026. In Japan, Netflix will have exclusive rights to stream the anime, with new episodes being released after their TV broadcast.

In September 2015, Kodansha 's Weekly Shōnen Magazine began publishing Atsushi Ohkubo 's Fire Force manga series. This series ended in February 2022 after its 34th compiled book volume was released in Japan in May 2022.

The TV show was based on a manga which was released in two parts. The first part was launched in July 2019 with 24 episodes while the second part came out in July 2020 with another 24 episodes. Both parts were streamed on FunimationNow and Crunchyroll platforms. Additionally, Toonami also broadcasted the show with English dubbing available for viewers.
