BL Anime Studio Grizzly Dissolves
Studio animated Twittering Birds Never Fly film, Yarichin Bitch-bu OAV
It has been reported that GRIZZLY, MAPPA's sister animation studio, officially dissolved on February 25th as per information from both the National Tax Registry of Japan and the Commercial Registry of Japan.
In Japan, the first movie from the planned anime series based on Kou Yoneda 's manga Twittering Birds Never Fly ( Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai ) was released in February 2020. Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather was licensed for release in English by Sentai Filmworks in August 2020. Although Sentai Filmworks has removed their official press release regarding the licensing, HIDIVE is still streaming the movie.
Don't Stay Gold is an anime DVD created by the film crew that was released as part of the franchise. It was based on Yoneda's short story about Kageyama and Kuga's first encounter. This OAD was included with a special edition of the seventh manga volume. HIDIVE previously made this OAD available for streaming.
Tanaka Ogeretsu's boys love Yarichin Bitch-bu manga was adapted into an anime by GRIZZLY.
The studio was established in December 2017.
