Horror-Romance Webtoon Red Fox Gets Animated Adaptation Premiering on LAFTEL on May 19
Series follows red fox who feasts on livers of humans
On May 19th, LAFTEL is set to release an animated version of Red Fox, which is a popular horror-romance webtoon. They have already released a teaser video for it. ( link ) , which is age-restricted and only available to watch on YouTube .
The story of Red Fox reads:
Greetings from Ibana, a stunning nation often referred to as the land of fire. In this land dwells the cunning fox, capable of transforming into human form and subsisting on human livers. For centuries, this creature hunts relentlessly until it encounters a human woman who teaches it about love, a profound human emotion. Meanwhile, from the depths of this fiery land emerges a heart-wrenching tale of love and tragedy involving an evil spirit seeking to claim the heart of a human woman.
The Red Fox webtoon, which was created and illustrated by HAMA, was published on various platforms such as Naver Series and Kakao Webtoon from 2013 to 2015. Although it was previously accessible in English on Tappytoon and other platforms, it has since been removed from these platforms. While those who purchased it can still access it, it is currently unavailable for new readers.
In Korea, the show "Red Fox" will have its exclusive debut on LAFTEL on May 19th. Currently, there are no plans for it to be released internationally.
