Elden Ring Nightreign Game's Character Trailer Previews Wylder
Wylder appears in new standalone game on May 30
On Tuesday, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a video showcasing Wylder from the upcoming standalone game Elden Ring: Nightreign.
Wylder is a balanced fighter.
Nightfarer characters include Wylder, Guardian, Duchess, Recluse, and Ironeye.
On May 30th, Bandai Namco will make available their game on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam.
The Deluxe Edition of the game comes with additional features such as a digital artbook and soundtrack. Meanwhile, the Collector's Edition is only available physically and contains items like a Wylder Nightfarer statue, Steelbook, hardcover artbook, and eight Nightfarer cards.
There was a closed network test on February 14-17.
The forthcoming release is a cooperative multiplayer experience within the realm of Elden Ring lore. As per the developer's portrayal, it involves player collaboration in a battle against enemies.
In this condensed action RPG, players will never experience the same journey twice as enemies, rewards, and Limveld itself are ever-shifting and evolving with each new session. Defeating greater enemies and venturing into the more dangerous parts of the map will uncover more powerful weapons and greater Rune rewards. Finding Sites of Grace gives each hero a chance to level up and gain crucial power. With each session-based adventure being akin to playing through an open-air dungeon, every journey provides an opportunity to grow lasting stat bonuses. Successful runs against the night bring players ever closer to defeating the Nightlord and unraveling the story behind each Nightfarer in this parallel world.

It quickly became popular worldwide with over 12 million units sold in March 2022. In the U.S., it surpassed Call of Duty: Vanguard as the best-selling game in the last 12 months ending in April 2022. In June 2024, the DLC expansion Shadow of the Erdtree was released on these same platforms. To play this expansion, you need to have the base game installed.
The game world of "Dark Souls," "Dark Souls III," and "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice" was created in collaboration between game designer Hidetaka Miyazaki and author George R.R. Martin.
The video game "Elden Ring" has received several accolades for its excellence in various categories. It was named "Game of the Year" at three different awards ceremonies: The DICE Awards, The Game Awards, and The Golden Joystick Awards. Additionally, it received a Grand Award in December 2022 from the PlayStation Partner Awards. In 2023, Hidetaka Miyazaki was recognized with the Nebula Award for Best Game Writing for his work on "Elden Ring." Furthermore, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for "Elden Ring" has been nominated for several awards in the categories of "Game of the Year," "Best Game Direction," "Best Art Direction," "Best Score and Music," and "Best RPG" at the upcoming The Game Awards in 2024.
