The first promotional video for the anime "Yūsha Party o Tsuihō Sareta Shiro Madōshi" has been released, featuring additional cast members and the opening song.
On Thursday, Sora Suigetsu and DeeCHA ' s Yūsha Party o Tsuihō Sareta Shiro Madōshi, S-Rank Bōkensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madōshi ga Kikakugai Sugiru (The White Mage Who was Banished From the Hero's Party is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer: This White Mage is Too Out of the Ordinary!) novels were unveiled with a new cast member and a promotional video. The video showcases the opening song "Junjō de Are" (Be of Pure Heart) by Gakuto Kajiwara, who also voices the series' protagonist Lloyd.
Marina Inoue will voice Merlin, Lloyd's foster parent.

The narrative revolves around Lloyd, a white mage who was exiled from the group of heroes he once accompanied. Later on, he joins an S-rank party on a mission. Although he considers himself just an ordinary adventurer, he proves to be far superior. It is unknown at this time that the hero's party will disband and that Lloyd will eventually gain recognition as a peerless support magic user.
In March 2020, Suigetsu introduced their web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Following this, Futabasha started publishing light novels with illustrations by DeeCHA in November 2020. They will release their eighth volume on June 30.
In January 2021, Wasabi Mukuno released an adaptation of their manga series on Futabasha's website for Gaugau Monster. As of May 30th, the ninth compiled book volume of this series will be published by Futabasha.
