Kaya-chan Isn't Scary Anime Reveals Staff, Cast in 1st Promo Video
Azusa Tachibana, Maaya Uchida star in anime
On Friday, the team behind the TV anime version of Yuritaro 's Kaya-chan Isn't Scary ( Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai ) shared its first promotional video, along with details about the staff and cast.
The anime will star Azusa Tachibana as Kaya-chan and Maaya Uchida as Chie-sensei.
Hiroshi Ikehata is directing the anime at East Fish Studio. Shigeru Murakoshi is in charge of overseeing the series scripts. Tarō Yamada and Hiroyuki Moriguchi are designing the characters, while Kohta Yamamoto and Shun Narita are composing the music. Yukio Nagasaki is the sound director for this anime production.
The company has obtained the rights to publish the manga, and they made it available for purchase on April 29th. They describe it as follows.
Kaya-chan is a notorious problem child in her kindergarten, but none of the adults know her secret--till Chie-sensei is put in charge and learns of Kaya-chan's hidden ability to see evil spirits and vanquish them with a punch! What will happen to this five-year-old who gets in trouble when she's only trying to help?
The manga launched ( link ) On the Kurage Bunch website of Shinchosha, the manga released its sixth volume on November 9th, with the seventh volume set for release on June 9th.
