Back When You Called Us Devils' Takashi Sano Debuts New Thriller Manga
Bakudan about serial bombings in Tokyo launched on May 23
On Thursday, Kodansha announced that Takashi Sano would launch his new manga series Bakudan on Friday through his X account on Comic Days platform.
A man in his midlife was arrested at Tokyo's Nogata police station for a minor assault charge. During interrogation, he made a prediction about an explosion occurring in Akihabara at ten o'clock. After the bomb detonated in the shopping district, he continued to predict more explosions. This put the police in a race against time as they tried to prevent further damage.
In October 2021, Sano began publishing the manga series "Before You Turn Into a Beast" in Kodansha 's Weekly Young Magazine. The series concluded in March 2023, with the final volume being released in May 2023.
Previously, Sano created the manga series titled "Back When You Called Us Devils" which was released on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app in 2017. It concluded with its 14th volume in October 2020. Kodansha USA Publishing publishes this manga in English.
