After her death in a car accident, she is reincarnated into Remilia, the villainess of one of her favorite games. Despite her love for Remilia in life, Emi realizes that Remilia is destined to fall in the plot of the game. Determined to change this outcome, she works towards reversing Remilia's fate. However, she soon discovers that the Star Maiden, the heroine of the game, also has another soul within her, who is pursuing her own goals. This revelation causes everyone in the game, including Remilia's fiance, the prince, to turn against her. In the end, Remilia regains control of her body, but her heart is changed by her awareness of Emi's love for her. As a result, she vows to take revenge on the Star Maiden and the prince for causing her pain.
