Akari Kitō voices Kikoru Shinomiya's adoptive sister for August 31 game
On Monday, the team behind the game "Kaiju No. 8" announced that Sagan Shinomiya, Kikoru Shinomiya's adoptive sister, will be joining the cast of characters in their upcoming game. Akari Kitō will provide the voice for this new addition.

Sagan leads CLOZER, a new unit formed to investigate the Kaiju Dimensional Gates.
The game is set to be released on iOS, Android, and PC through Steam on August 31st as per the information on its listing in the App Store.
The company describes the game:
Crush colossal Kaiju with a game-changing blow! Experience exhilarating attacks with intuitive controls! Explore the world of KAIJU NO. 8 , recreated with stunning visuals!
The game has a turn-based fighting mechanism that is consistent with the series' narrative, as well as unique plotlines.
The game is also running a pre-registration campaign for all players to receive in-game rewards.
The game was first announced in June 2024.
The anime's second season will debut in July 2025. Crunchyroll will stream the new season.
On April 13th, 14th, and 16th, the compilation film for the first season of the anime series Kaiju No. 8 was shown in theaters in the United States and Canada. This event-style release was offered in both Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English.
The anime series made its debut on TV Tokyo in Japan during April 2024 with 12 episodes. Crunchyroll provided English subtitles for streaming, while also offering an English dub version. Additionally, X (previously Twitter) streamed the anime worldwide simultaneously with its Japanese airing, providing real-time viewing options for audiences around the globe.
Viz Media has made available both digital and physical versions of the Monster #8 manga series. Meanwhile, Shueisha publishes this same series on its MANGA Plus service under the title Monster #8, where it provides a description of the storyline.
