Yūto Uemura, Junya Enoki voice new characters in sequel to 2010 anime
On Sunday, the official Twitter account of Amazon Prime Video in Thailand announced that the new anime series "New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT" will be available on their platform starting from June 30th.
The returning cast members for the new anime are:
- Arisa Ogasawara as Panty
- Mariya Ise as Stocking
- Kōji Ishii as Garterbelt
- Hiroyuki Yoshino as Brief
- Takashi Nakamura as Chuck
- Yuka Komatsu as Scanty
The characters Polyurethane and Polyester are voiced by Yūto Uemura and Junya Enoki respectively. These two are known as the "Tenshi" brothers, with Polyester being the elder sibling and Polyurethane being the younger one.
In the upcoming anime series, Akeno Watanabe has been cast as Kneesocks, taking over from Ayumi Fujimura who played the character in the 2010 version. Meanwhile, Yūko Natsuyoshi has been chosen to voice Fastener, replacing Miki Makiguchi from the previous series.

The upcoming anime includes musicians such as m-flo's Taku Takahashi, Teddyloid, TAKU INOUE, 80KIDZ, KM, TAAR, MONJOE, Yackle, Mitsunori Ikeda, and Junji Chiba, among others in its soundtrack.
Kadokawa describes the new anime's story:
In Daten City, a realm between heaven and hell, sinister spirits known as "Ghosts" prowl the streets, feeding on human desires and resentment.
In difficult times, two powerful beings appear with a bright light that surpasses human comprehension, eliminating the malevolent entities.
Their names? Panty & Stocking!
These fallen angel sisters have been tasked with purging the darkness engulfing the earth.
But who are they, really?
Are they truly messengers of God... or agents of the Devil?
