On Sunday, Bandai Namco America announced that Ichigo Kurosaki (Thousand-Year Blood War version) will be available as a downloadable character in Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, the new 3D arena fighting game for the Bleach franchise, starting from June 17. Season pass owners will have early access starting from June 10. Additionally, version 1.10 update of the game will introduce Ranked Matchmaking mode starting from June 9.
The game launched on March 21.
The Deluxe Edition of the game comes with a season pass featuring four characters from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, early access for one week, and Soul Crystals. The Ultimate Edition has five-costume sets for Thousand-Year Blood War and Rebirth of Souls in addition to the pre-order bonus of a Thousand-Year Blood War costume set.
Players in the game utilize assaults to diminish their adversaries' Reishi gauges. Reducing one gauge of Reishi results in decreasing their opponent's Konpaku, which is represented by nine health bars. Players can employ combos to annihilate multiple Konpaku and utilize reverse actions while attacking and defending. As spiritual power accumulates, fighters may employ Spiritual Pressure Moves, subsequently awakening and unleashing Bankai.
The narrative of the game encompasses the plotlines of the "Substitute Soul Reaper" and "Arrancar" arcs in the "Substitute Soul Reaper" manga series.
