'Uglymug, Epicfighter' Anime's 2nd Video Reveals Theme Songs, July 6 Debut
Boy band TEMPEST performs "My Way" opening, Miyu Kaneko performs "Bansōkō" ending
On Wednesday, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Ryō Hiromatsu's manga series "Busamen Gachi Fighter" (also known as "Uglymug" and "Epicfighter") unveiled the key visual, second promotional video, and premiere date of July 6th. In the video, you can see and hear previews of the opening theme song "My Way" by TEMPEST and the ending theme song "Bansōkō" (Bandage) by Miyu Kaneko.
On July 6th at 11:30 p.m., the anime will be shown on Tokyo MX and Sun TV channels in Japan. It will also be available for streaming on d Anime Store at midnight that same day. Additionally, it will air on AT-X channel on July 7th and BS Fuji channel on July 9th.

Toshiyuki Sone ( Haikyu!! To The Top , BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- ) is directing the anime at White Fox. Kenta Ihara ( Ishura two seasons, Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- ) is in charge of series scripts, and Miki Matsumoto ( Angels of Death , Summer Time Rendering ) is designing the characters. EGG FIRM is producing the anime.

Square Enix 's Manga UP! Global publishes ( link ) the novel's manga adaptation by Osamu Kozuki under the English title Uglymug, Epicfighter , and describes the story:

In 2017, Square Enix published the first compiled book volume of the manga series "Kozuki," which was adapted from "Monthly Big Gangan." The series concluded in 2020 with six compiled book volumes released by Square Enix.
Hiromatsu launched ( link ) In 2015, a novel was posted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. It was completed with its final chapter published in October 2022. Kobunsha released one volume of the book in 2018.
