Manga last published chapter in 2023

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, which is based on ZAG Entertainment's series, resumed its manga adaptation on Kodansha's Palcy app after two years with its 40th chapter on June 18th. This chapter was included in the third and most recent compiled book volume that was released in June 2023. However, it was published as the 14th chapter in that volume because each chapter was divided into multiple parts and published on Palcy separately.

In January 2021, the manga was introduced in Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine by Warita and Tsuchida. Later on, it was moved to Palcy app. Now, Kodansha USA Publishing is publishing the English version of the manga. This describes the narrative of the story.

Marinette is your typical high school student. She's cheery, a bit awkward, and a little clumsy. But what's not so typical is, she can transform into a superhero! Disguised as the confident Ladybug, Marinette protects the streets of Paris alongside fellow superhero Cat Noir--who, unbeknownst to Marinette, is Marinette's classmate Adrian. Not only are Marinette and Adrian unaware of each other's secret identities, they're also criss-crossed crushes--Marinette has a crush on Adrian, while Chat Noir has a crush on Ladybug! As if being a teenager and a crime fighting superhero wasn't enough!

The animated series "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir" first appeared in South Korea in September 2015 before being introduced in the United States on Nickelodeon in December 2015. The second season was shown on French television on Netflix in December 2016. The third season was released in France in April 2019 and on Netflix in August of that year. The fourth season premiered in France in April 2021 and was also available on Disney+. A fifth season followed in October 2022, and a sixth season was introduced in [insert date]. The show is produced by several companies including Zag, Method Animation, Toei Animation, SamG, with support from TF1, Disney Channel EMEA, SK Broadband, and AB droits audiovisuels.

Zag Entertainment, in collaboration with Toei Animation and Method Animation, created a promotional video for their upcoming project using 2D animation. Later on, they decided to release it as a CG-animated series. Meanwhile, they also produced a 2D OVA for the series, featuring Cat Noir's design from the CG-animated version, not the one used in the promotional video.

ZAG Entertainment is establishing a new studio in Japan in July.
