Marinette is an average high school student who is friendly, somewhat clumsy, and cheerful. However, she possesses the ability to transform into a powerful superhero known as Ladybug. Along with her fellow superhero Cat Noir, who is secretly Adrian, Marinette protects Paris' streets from crime. Despite not knowing each other's true identities, they both have crushes on one another - Marinette has feelings for Adrian while Chat Noir harbors a crush on Ladybug. All of this happens while Marinette juggles being a teenager and a superhero.
