LDK's Ayu Watanabe Launches New Manga
Kokoro, Ai ni Arazu. manga launches on July 25
On Wednesday, it was announced in the August issue of Kodansha's Kiss magazine that Ayu Watanabe will launch a new manga called "Kokoro, Ai ni Arazu" (which translates to "Kokoro, Without Love") in the next issue, which will be released on July 25th. This manga focuses on the story of Kokoro, a woman who is initially feared by her younger colleagues but later lives with a younger bartender in her own apartment.
Arashi's Hug Pillow manga was published in Kodansha 's Bessatsu Friend magazine from March 2020 until January 2023.
In 2009, Watanabe started the LDK manga series in Bessatsu Friend magazine. He concluded it in August 2017 after publishing its final compiled book volume in October of that year. Kodansha released this manga in North America through Kodansha USA Publishing. In February 2022, Watanabe introduced a sequel titled LDK Pink in Bessatsu Friend. This sequel is published irregularly.
In April 2014, a live-action film featuring Ayane Gōriki and Kento Yamazaki was released under the title "Suki" ga Futatsu (Two Loves Under One Roof). This was an adaptation of the manga "LDK Hitotsu Yane no Shita" with a different cast. In March 2019, another live-action adaptation of "LDK Hitotsu Yane no Shita" titled "Suki" ga Futatsu (Two Loves Under One Roof)" was released in Japan with a different cast.
