A romantic fantasy story revolves around a person who is reborn into the role of a servant to a demon king, while also developing feelings for a priest character.
On Friday, it was revealed by Futabasha that both the light novel series "Yūsha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Itanode, Kokuhaku Shite Mita" by Suisei and its manga adaptation by Kairi are going to be adapted into television anime series. It is Kairi's manga adaptation of the original work that is being credited for it.
The series stars Kōhei Amasaki as Yōki and Kana Hanazawa as Cecilia.
Yasutaka Yamamoto, who has won medals in various competitions, serves as the chief director for the series "Servant × Service" at Gekkō. Tomonori Mine directs "Isekai Onsen Paradise," while Yukie Sugawara handles both writing and overseeing scripts for "Overlord" and "No Guns Life." Mina Ōsawa adapts illustrator La-na's character designs for animation in "The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest," while Satoru Kōsaki and MONACA compose music for "BEASTARS" and "The Apothecary Diaries." Ryō Aizawa serves as the producer at Starry Cube for various series.
In this narrative, we follow Yōki, a person who has been brought back to life in a magical realm. Unlike other individuals who are reborn as heroes or villains, he finds himself serving under the demon lord instead. During a battle involving a group of heroic characters, Yōki is present, fighting against them. However, when he comes across Ceclia, one of the heroes, he experiences instant romantic attraction.
In 2013, Suisei started the series on the Let's Become Novelists website. The most recent update was made on June 12th. Futabasha began printing the manga with illustrations by La-na in October 2014, and released the third volume in August 2015.
In 2021, Kairi started the manga version of their series on Futabasha's website for Gaugau Monster. As of March 28th, they have released their 11th compiled volume, with the 12th volume set for release on July 30th.
