In a society where animals have anthropomorphic features, there is tension between carnivores and herbivores. At Cherryton Academy, this conflict intensifies after an incident in which Tem, an alpaca from the drama club, is killed by a predator. Legoshi, a grey wolf who was friends with Tem, has always been feared and suspected due to his predatory nature. In the wake of the tragedy, he tries to hide his traits, but this displeases Louis, a red deer and the star actor of the drama club. When Louis sneaks into the auditorium to train Tem's replacement for an upcoming play, he assigns Legoshi to watch duty. That night, Legoshi has a fateful encounter with Haru, a white dwarf rabbit who is scorned by her peers. As Legoshi develops feelings for Haru, he must confront his own true nature and the circumstances surrounding Tem's death, as well as the underlying violence in their world.
