Hinako Seta launched in 2009, inspired 2015 TV anime
On Monday, it was announced that Hinako Seta's Re-Kan! manga will end in the next issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time magazine, which will be released on August 7th. The manga will be featured prominently on the cover of the issue, and will also have a color opening page.
In essence, Seta's manga revolves around Hibiki Amami, who possesses the ability to perceive supernatural entities in her environment. Her experiences are depicted in various narratives that involve both her human companions as well as these otherworldly beings.
In 2009, Seta began his manga series with a one-shot publication in Manga Time Jumbo from Houbunsha. He later converted it into a regular series in 2010. In March 2018, the series moved from Manga Time Jumbo to Manga Time due to the latter's discontinuation of publication. On January 7th, 2023, Houbunsha released the 15th compiled book volume of the series.
In Japan in April 2015, a 13-episode TV anime series was based on a manga. Crunchyroll broadcasted it live as it was released, while Sentai Filmworks acquired the North American rights for DVD and Blu-ray release.
