The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 Anime Reveals English Dub Cast
Stephen Fu, Erica Mandez, Brianna Knickerbocker, others star in dub debuting on Wednesday
On Wednesday, Crunchyroll revealed the voice actors for the English version of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 anime. After updating its post, it was confirmed that the streaming service would release the dub on the same day.
The English cast includes:

- Brian Timothy Anderson as Werner
- Alice Himora as Sadeena/Wyndia/Gaelion

- Erik Scott Kimerer as Itsuki
- Xander Mobus as Motoyasu/Solea
- Kieran Regan as Fohl
- Kira Buckland as Rishia
- Jackie Lastra as Melty
- Evan Michael Lee as Jaralis/Tsualon
- Cristina Vee as Fitoria
- Katelyn Gault as Mirellia
The individuals responsible for the English dub of this project are Courtney Sanford (director), Eric P. Sherman (producer), Henry Mason (writer), Kenneth Thompson (mixer), and Krystal Holmes (engineer).
The new anime series started airing on multiple channels on July 9th. These include AT-X, TOKYO MX, Sun Television, KBS, TV Aichi, Lemino, and d Anime Store. Additionally, it made its debut on BS NTV at midnight on July 10th.
Hitoshi Haga will be back as director for the fourth season of Kinema Citrus. Keigo Koyanagi will also return as script supervisor. Franziska van Wulfen, Sana Komatsu, and Masahiro Suwa are all coming back as character designers. Takanori Yamamoto will be the assistant director, having previously directed episodes in earlier seasons. Kevin Penkin will return as composer, joined by Alfredo Sirica and Natalie Jeffreys as sub-composers.
The anime's new cast includes Takeo Ōtsuka as Werner and Jirō Saitō as Jaralis.
In January 2019, The Rising of The Shield Hero anime series was introduced through a special that lasted for two hours. It continued for 25 episodes in total. During its release in Japan, Crunchyroll made it available for streaming. Similarly, in April 2022, The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 was launched, which was also streamed by Crunchyroll as it was being broadcast in Japan. Finally, in October 2023, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 was released, consisting of 12 episodes.
One Peace Books has announced that they will be publishing both the English translation of Yusagi Anoko's original novel series and the manga adaptation of Aiya Kyu in English. According to the publisher, the first volume of both works will be released simultaneously.
Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days on games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe! He discovers he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons and tasked with saving the world from its prophesied destruction. As the Shield Hero, the weakest of the heroes, all is not as it seems. Naofumi is soon alone, penniless, and betrayed. With no one to turn to, and nowhere to run, he is left with only his shield. Now, Naofumi must rise to become the legendary Shield Hero and save the world!
