The initial TV anime adaptation of Akasaka's manga series "Kaguya-sama: Love is War" was released in January 2019 with 12 episodes. "Kaguya-sama: Love is War" Season 2 followed in April 2020 with another 12 episodes. "Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai -Ultra Romantic-" is the third season of the series, which premiered in April 2022. Muse Asia streamed all three seasons in a marathon catchup before airing them in Japan.
"Kaguya-sama: Love is War - The First Kiss that Never Ends" (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: First Kiss wa Owaranai) is an anime film that follows the storyline of the same name from the "Kaguya-samma: Love is War" manga series. It was released in Japan in December 2022. In Southeast Asia, Muse Asia screened it in theaters in 2023.
In Japan, the anime series "Madhouse" directed by Shingo Natsume was initially released as its first season consisting of 12 episodes from October to December in 2015. Later on, Animax Asia broadcasted this anime in Southeast Asia in September 2016. Additionally, Daisuki made it available in some Asian countries where it was streamed.
In April 2019, the second season of "J.C. Staff" and "Chikara Sakurai" began with a TV special, followed by the first episode premiering one week later. Animax Asia broadcasted the anime in Japan as it was released.
The anime has an upcoming third season that will premiere in October.
