In 2014, a novel was published that follows the story of a high school girl who gains access to a magical realm and possesses the power to create elixirs.
Magica Infos revealed on Thursday that they are creating an anime television series based on Akira Iwafune's Potions Will Save Me novel series. This adaptation will be shown in October.

Mikiko Furukawa of IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio is overseeing the anime production of "Moriarty's Perfect Crime." Studio KAIBA provides animation support, while Yūichi Imaizumi serves as sound director. bermei.inazawa composed the music for this series, which was produced under Kazuya Takahashi's supervision.
Image via Amazon In this narrative, we follow Kaede, a typical teenager who is unexpectedly transported into a fantasy realm brimming with mythical creatures such as beastkin, elves, and dragons. After spending the entire day wandering aimlessly in this unfamiliar environment, she discovers a peculiar book that enables her to concoct potions by collecting ingredients and reciting "Create." With this newfound ability, Kaede intends to utilize it to navigate her way through this novel world and eventually return to Japan.
Iwafune serialized ( link ) the story in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from April 2014 to September 2024. Shufunotomo published the first print novel volume of the story in April 2015 with illustrations by Yoshi Tobe. The 10th volume shipped in September 2024.
Tobe launched ( link ) In September 2023, there will be a manga version of the stories found on Shufunotomo's Hero Comics website. As of now, there are 15 chapters available.
