On Friday, Warner Bros. Japan announced that "JOJODAY" is a paid streaming event connecting the past and future of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime series based on Hirohiko Araki's manga. ( link ) In these countries - the United States, Canada, UK, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, New Zealand, Macau, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, Italy - ABEMA is available.
The live broadcast of the event will be in Japanese without English captions. Those who purchase tickets for the stream can view it later until April 19th.
Tickets for the livestream are on sale and as of press time are listed to cost US$38.46.
Warner Bros. Japan will host the event on April 12.
In Tokyo, there is an occasion taking place with attendees such as Jonathan Joestar (Kazuyuki Okitsu), Jōtarō Kūjō (Daisuke Ono), Leon Abbacchio (Junichi Suwabe), and Jolyne Cujoh (Fairouz Ai).
In February 2023, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series creator Hirohito Araki released the newest installment of his manga series called "The JOJOLands" in Ultra Jump magazine.
David Production's anime adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure covered all parts of the manga from Part 1 to Part 6 with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. Netflix released the first 12 episodes globally in December 2021, followed by the second part with episodes 13-24 in September 2022. Finally, Netflix released the third and final part with episodes 25-38 in December 2022.
Some other works within the same series are video games, a theater production based on Araki's manga adaptation of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan ( Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai ), and live-action adaptations of Araki's spinoff manga Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan ( Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai ).
