Petals of Reincarnation Anime's 1st Promo Video Reveals Main Cast, Staff, 2026 Debut
Series stars Shōya Chiba, Wakana Maruoka, Ayane Sakura
On Monday, the official website for the TV anime version of Mikihisa Konishi's Reincarnation no Kaben manga released its first promotional video, key visual, main cast, staff, and announced that it will premiere in 2026.

Shōya Chiba as Tōya Senji
Wakana Maruoka as Haito Luo Buffett
Ayane Sakura as John V Neumann
Shun Kudō of Benten Film is serving as director for the anime project. Atsuo Ishino has been appointed as series composer for this production. Haruna Katō will be responsible for character design, with Sayaka Ono providing supervision. Kohta Yamamoto has been assigned as composer for this project, with Pony Canyon producing the music. Kōsuke Murayama will be serving as assistant director, while Kentarō Azuma will be responsible for action direction. Yukio Nagasaki has been appointed as sound director for this production.
HIDIVE is co-producing the anime.
In essence, the narrative revolves around Tōya Senji, a gifted teenager who feels unremarkable because he consistently compares himself to his successful older brother. He yearns for distinction and decides to pursue excellence in something unique. During his journey, he stumbles upon Haito La Buffet, an old acquaintance who he perceives as exceptionally skilled. Through her guidance, he discovers that she had utilized a "branch of reincarnation" to inherit her abilities from her previous life as Miyamoto Musashi, thereby becoming a "Returner," someone with past life talent. Additionally, he learns about other Returners who possess more ambitious goals with their talents.
In August 2024, during the series' 10th anniversary celebration, Mag Garden revealed that they were creating an anime version of the show.
Konishi launched ( link ) In May 2014, the manga series featured in Comic Blade Magazine was published. However, due to the cessation of the magazine's print edition in September 2014, it was moved online. On February 10th, the 21st compiled book volume was released by Mag Garden.
