1st season director Junichi Yamamoto returns for new season
On Wednesday, it was announced that the second season of the TV anime adaptation of Haruka Mitsui's manga series "Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You" (Dōse, Koishite Shimaunda or KoiShima) will air on TBS and BS11 in 2026. Junichi Yamamoto, who directed the first season, will return for the second season. Additionally, the staff shared the visuals for both seasons, including the second season's visual and a character visual featuring the main characters as adults.
The cast and characters featured in the visual are:
- Sakura Shinfuku as Mizuho Nishino (center)
- Kazuki Ura as Kizuki Hazawa (right from center)
- Sion Yoshitaka as Shin Kashiwagi (left from center)
- Shōya Chiba as Airu Izumi (leftmost)
- Satoshi Inomata as Shūgo Hoshikawa (rightmost)
The initial season of the anime was launched on TBS on January 9th. In North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS, Crunchyroll broadcasted the series as it was being released. Additionally, they are currently streaming an English dubbed version of it.
The first season of "More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers" was directed by Junichi Yamamoto of Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen, with production by Typhoon Graphics. Yū Murai of Haigakura supervised and wrote the scripts, while Io Shiiba designed the characters. Katsuzō Hirata of Angel Beats! and Suzuna Okuyama of A Certain Magical Index II were sub-character designers, and Keiji Inai of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? composed the music.
Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
