Toyama voices "Light Blue Koupen-chan" in episodes 20-21
On Sunday, the official website of the Koupen-chan anime series announced that Nao Tōyama has joined its cast as Mizuiro no Koupen-chan (Light Blue Koupen-chan), a baby emperor penguin who has turned light blue and will return to its original color. This character first appeared in episode 20 of the series on Sunday and will also be featured in episode 21 on August 24th.
The anime debuted on April 6 on TV Asahi .

Kyō Yatate ( Bananya ), who directed the anime "Lesprit", is currently working on the series composition for "Yoichi Kato" (Yōkai Watch). "Akiyuki Tateyama" (Laid-Back Camp) is responsible for composing the music for this project. "Hazumu Sakuta" (Chikasugi Idol Akae-chan) serves as the chief director for this production. "Hiroyuki Nemoto" (Heaven's Design Team) is the art director, while "Yoshio Harisaki" (Haikyu!!) is the assistant art director. "Jun Kubota" (Aquarion Logos) is in charge of photography for this project. "Daiki Hachimaki" (Tonari no Yōkai-san) handles sound direction, while "Sachiko Nishi" (Shadows House) oversees sound effects. "Stay Luck" is responsible for sound production for this project.
In 2017, Rurutea first introduced Koupen-chan on social media platforms, which eventually led to the creation of various merchandise items based on the character.
