Studio OLM has unveiled the promotional video, cast members, theme song details, and October 1 debut date for their anime adaptation of Leeanne M. Krecic's "Mongie" webcomic.
Toshinobu Kubota is responsible for singing both the introductory tune "1,2, Play" and the concluding tune "Left & Right" for Ruminate . Night Tempo is in charge of creating the main theme for Ruminate 's in-game music.
The anime will start broadcasting on Fuji TV's +Ultra time slot in October first, with air times set for Wednesdays at 12:15 a.m., which is actually Thursday morning.
In the anime for Pokemon Sun and Moon, directed by Daiki Tomiyasu at OLM with Ayumi Moriyama as assistant director, Saki Ebisawa from key animator for Pokemon Journeys: The Series has been tasked with designing characters based on Ebimo 's designs. Ayumi Matsui from Marmalade Boy has been assigned to handle the series composition. Slow Curve will be responsible for planning and production while Conisch will compose the anime's music.

In 2016, Mongie started publishing their comic series on WEBTOON. After finishing its third season in September 2022, Mongie declared that it was over. ( link ) The reason for not updating the comic on WEBTOON is because of several issues related to the platform, such as inadequate marketing support and unequal compensation for creators. However, it is possible for the comic to return in the future. ( link ) in fall 2025, though Mongie has not yet announced a new platform.
